Aged skin is characterized by age spots, wrinkles and decrease in elasticity. We are going to look at the factors behind this aging of skin.

Wrinkles can be formed due to several reasons. These include decrease in the production of vital proteins of the skin and at the same time decline in tension of underlying skin muscles. Sometimes a consistent tension in the muscles and continuous movement of lip and brow region can cause wrinkles there.

The skin ages with time and this is a natural process. There are only few lucky adults that have the skin that does not show the effects of aging. Their skin stays free of blemishes in teenage years and away from wrinkle as they get older.

Most people however suffer from blotches and wrinkles. Their skin loses its beauty. What is the reason behind this aging? How does it happen? And even more important question is that why aging happens?
